My name is Cecelia.  I came to Beauty for Ashes in January 2021 and gave birth to my now one-year-old daughter Ryleigh in February.  Since being at BFA I’ve learned so much about myself and motherhood but most importantly I’ve learned what it means to have a relationship with God.   He shows me daily that as long as I walk with Him my past no longer defined me.  With every God-honoring choice, I make I’m helping break the chains of addiction off not only myself, my precious children as well. 

 

This opportunity to hike means so much to me.  I love the outdoors and I’m so looking forward to spending time in awe of His beautiful raw masterpiece that we are going to be hiking through.  On a deeper level, it gives me the opportunity to test my endurance in a positive way not only physically but mentally as well.  

 

I am so honored to be joining the team this year.  To be able to be a part of a bigger picture and give back to the amazing ministry that saved my daughter and I.  Go team GO!  Let’s make this the best year yet!
