Howdy folks! My name is Meagan Whitman. I am incredibly honored to go on the Beauty for Ashes benefit hike for the third year in a row. The past trips have been transformative experiences out in the woods unplugging, challenging myself, and enjoying being out in nature with fantastic people. Speaking of fantastic people, I have been friends with the Zello's and their amazing ministry for over 15 years. Over the years, I have seen Teen Challenge and Beauty for Ashes help change, heal, and bring hope to many men, women, and their families.

 

My inspiration for doing this hike are the brave, strong women who are struggling with addiction and their families who are affected. I am excited to challenge myself while helping others in need. If walking in the woods for a few days helps raise money to support their journey, I will be a happy camper (pun intended). In all seriousness, this is a wonderful cause that will help many women who are challenging themselves to climb their own personal mountains in life. Please help me support them by donating today!
