This year we have an amazing group of volunteer hikers!  Take some time to meet our team members and make a donation towards their efforts to conquer 30 miles of trail in order to support the incredible mission of Beauty for Ashes!

OUR MISSION

Beauty for Ashes offers help, hope and healing to both mother and child.  An effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based curriculum, life skills training, life applications, and Church and community involvement lead to mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual wholeness.

The Hike

THE HIKE

Partner with us as we conquer 30 miles of the Shenandoah National Park, raising funds and awareness for Beauty for Ashes Women and Children's Home. This is an incredible opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the mountains while challenging your body, mind, and spirit.

This event started when Cindy and Josh Zello, along with friends, hiked the whole Appalachian Trail through Shenandoah National Park 7 years ago - 110 miles . The part of the park we have chosen to hike for the event is very enjoyable and has allowed more participants to join!

We are hiking three circuit type routes over the course of 3 days.  Two of these routes are located in the Central Part of the Park while one is located in the Southern section of the park. The sites are staples in the Mid-Atlantic Blue Ridge Mountains, and the terrain is sure to challenge our minds, bodies, and spirits as we learn to work together.
