ABOUT ME

My name is Destany. I have been a resident at Beauty for Ashes with my one-year-old son, Silas, since December 2025. In February 2026, I also began having my seven-year-old daughter, Zoe, with me on the weekends, which has been an incredible blessing for our family.

Since coming to Beauty for Ashes, I have grown in my identity in Christ, grown as a mother, and begun to discover my purpose in life. Through God’s amazing grace and the support of the entire Teen Challenge ministry, I have been freed from the chains that held me down for so many years. God has brought me out of my personal wilderness and placed me in a place of healing, growth, and hope.

I am so grateful for everything God has done in my life, and I know He will continue to move the mountains in front of me. I want to share my story so that other women who have gone through similar circumstances can see that change is possible, healing is real, and there is always hope for a new beginning.
